Project Description

Date: 11-12 March 2025

Key Highlights:

  • Children filled in colors they associated with certain emotions (e.g., red for anger).
  • Participants discussed their color choices and explained why they felt a particular way.
  • This activity provided an outlet for children to express and talk about their emotions.
  • Participants : 6-10-year-students and 12-15-year-students.

Impact:

  • Participants were able to identify basic emotions such as happy, sad, mad, and scared. Younger children (6–10 years) expressed their feelings by linking emotions to colors, while older participants (12–15 years) reflected on why they chose certain colors, showing early self-awareness.
  • Across both age groups, children practiced sharing and discussing their emotions in a safe setting, helping them feel more comfortable expressing their feelings and beginning to develop empathy for others.
