Documentary: “Breaking the Silence on Stress: A Glimpse Into Women's Resilience.”

Purpose: 

The documentary was produced to highlight the experiences of women living in informal settlements in Thapathali and to showcase how open conversations and shared understanding can help address stress and emotional well-being. It aimed to capture the essence of resilience, community support, and empowerment through dialogue.

  • Content Summary: 

Documented a stress management session conducted in the Thapathali informal settlement. 

Captured real moments of interaction, laughter, learning, and emotional sharing that reflected trust and solidarity among participants.

“The Mindful Hour” podcast was conducted in collaboration with crazy cave and Meenashi I  Sharma as an initiative of HISCUS. This podcast explored topics related to mental health, offering 

insightful discussions, interviews, and practical advice to help listeners cultivate mindfulness and  improve their overall well-being. From coping with stress and anxiety to fostering resilience and  self-compassion, the podcast provided valuable resources and strategies for navigating life’s challenges with greater ease and awareness. With a focus on promoting mental wellness and  destigmatizing mental health issues, “The Mindful Hour” endeavored to empower listeners to  prioritize their mental health and lead more fulfilling lives.

Podcast on Feminism: HISCUS conducted a podcast on feminism in collaboration with Crazy  Cave featuring Ms. Sandhya Acharya as our interviewee. This podcast explored topics related to  the basic understanding of feminism, the idea of “what feminism is not ”, delving into themes of  feminism portrayed in the media to cover government policies and society’s everyday lives. The  podcast was produced to emulate the core mission of HISCUS i.e., women empowerment. By  discussing the above themes, the podcast was able to have a broader outreach.
